About Us

Our Founder: Peter Naylor
Peter, an Engineering and Business Administration graduate of the University of Michigan, believes that people have innate qualities that make it possible to enhance their behaviors if they have an accurate base from which they can work and a set of tools built on that base.
Peter started his career at the Manhattan corporate offices of Ingersoll Rand Company. He rose to sales manage its Air Power division. At a compressor show in Texas, Peter met an old Ingersoll Rand buddy who introduced him to a program that when implemented, changed Peter’s life forever.
As a result, Peter founded Naylor Associates in Elmira, New York in 1971. It was Peter’s desire to spread the ideas of the program he personally used to improve his own performance, to other people who wanted to achieve the goals in their lives.
Successful author and enlightened leader, Peter works on special assignment, runs High Performance Management Technologies processes for individuals and consults for small business clients. He and his wife, Jackie, a retired nurse and hospital administrator, run programs in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Our CEO: Claire Crittenden
Claire’s love for the arts and love for business seemed an incompatible mix.
Her first effort at combining them came in junior high school when she developed The Good Kid Company, a service company employing junior and senior high kids in a variety of work. Claire went on to college majoring in communication and theatre arts at SUNY Fredonia. She supported herself while in school with the Zodiac, a college town boutique and worked summers in professional theatre.
After leaving Fredonia she worked in the art department at the University of Maryland at College Park and developed a lighting design company to keep her hand in business.
In 1970,she and her family resettled in Elmira, NY to be closer to an ailing parent and Claire began three small companies under the umbrella of The Good Earth Trading Company. After 7 years, to further enhance the operation and bottom lines of those businesses, she enrolled in Naylor Associates' “High Achiever’s Process”. The result of that initial involvement was a one third increase of the bottom lines of her combined businesses and a decrease of 38% in time spent managing them.
So excited by what she experienced, in 1978 she sold her businesses and joined Peter serving individuals and businesses in New York’s southern tier.
After becoming partners, Claire and Peter brought the company, Naylor Associates, The Leadership Center, to Rochester, NY in 1984. They later incorporated as Integrative Performance Technologies.
Successful author, speaker, collaborator, businesswoman and leader, Claire's "whole life" approach satisfies and inspires both the creative and analytical sides of her clients.
Claire leads retreats, workshops, seminars and meetings nationally. Claire and her husband Rick Kaczka, owner of R & R Remodeling, live in Rochester, NY.
